KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has obtained a remand extension against two suspects arrested in connection with the alleged RM230 million misappropriation of public donations involving a non-governmental organisation (NGO) in Selangor.

Selangor MACC obtained the remand extension against the duo when they were produced at the magistrate’s court in Shah Alam this morning.

To date, the MACC has frozen 33 bank accounts containing about RM150 million to assist investigations into the case.
