Subang Jaya police are looking for witnesses to a fatal accident in Puchong to come forward to assist investigations.

SUBANG JAYA: Police here are appealing for witnesses to an accident in Persiaran Putra Perdana in Puchong, in which a 32-year-old motorcyclist was killed, to come forward.

Deputy district poice chief Superintendent Mohd Fairus Jaafar said a report on the incident was lodged at 10.53am on April 8.

“Initial investigations found that the victim was riding a red Modenas Pulsar along the middle lane from Putra Heights towards One City when he is believed to have been sideswiped by a white Toyota Vellfire.

“The impact caused the motorcyclist to fall onto the left lane, where he was subsequently run over by another motorcycle travelling in the same direction,” he said in a statement.

Fairus said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene due to head injuries.

If found guilty, a person can be jailed between two and 10 years and fined between RM5,000 and RM20,000.

Fairus urged those with information on the incident to come forward to assist investigations by contacting investigating officer Inspector Mohamad Hamdan at 019-4642222
