KUALA LUMPUR: Police have arrested three people, including a woman, for allegedly stealing food deliveries left at the lobby of an apartment in Kajang.

In a statement, Kajang police said they received a report at 2.27am on July 14 from a security supervisor regarding the theft of food deliveries at the premises where he was stationed.

The suspects, two men and a woman aged between 20 and 30, are unemployed and have previous drug and criminal record. The two male suspects have between six and eight priors.

Police seized a shirt bearing the police logo and markings from the suspects.

Police said no stolen food was found during the arrests, but closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage showed the suspects allegedly committing the thefts on several different dates.
