Foreign woman falls to death at KLIA2

SEPANG: A woman from China fell to her death at KLIA2 today after she was found behaving erratically at the terminal.

Sepang district police chief, Assistant Commissioner M. Ravi said the incident occurred at about 2.20pm at the Green Zone, Level 3 of the terminal, where the woman was seen sitting outside a balcony area, crying and acting aggressively.

He said security personnel attempted to calm her down, but she became increasingly agitated and resisted efforts to assist her.

He said medical personnel who arrived at the scene provided emergency treatment before the woman was rushed to Hospital Putrajaya for further treatment.

Checks revealed that the woman was scheduled to return to China on May 2.

Ravi said preliminary investigations showed that the victim was a Chinese national aged 27, while the case is being investigated as a sudden death report.

He said police have urged the public not to speculate on the case to avoid the spread of false information.
