Woman Celebrates Her Divorce From Abusive Partner With A Party And Netizens Love It

A woman recently went viral after divorcing an abusive partner and showcasing her celebration on social media

On 16 September, Twitter user @airawr_, also known as Aira, wrote, “Divorce is always seen as a bad thing. But it’s not a bad thing when you’re finally free from abuse. So here is me celebrating freedom. Thank you, girls. I just wished I had the brat here too.”

The tweet has since garnered over 1,200 retweets and 3,300 likes.

Aira shared several photos of a small celebration she had with her girlfriends and it looks hella fun

You can see them enjoying a high-tea session together with everyone dressed in different shades of pink.

They even had a quirky balloon that said, “Fabulous Mrs to Ms”.

Netizens showered her with kind wishes and congratulated her for the new-found freedom

One person wrote, “Congrats!!!! Honestly, it’s just society making divorcing your partner sounds (sic) like a shame, especially for women. I am glad you are free from all the abuse in the past, everything will be better now.”

Asking for help is not a sign of weakness.
