#PrkKimanis : Abdul Rahman: Teach Warisan and PH a lesson

Parti Warisan Sabah did not win in the last general election but gets to rule the state due to Upko leaders, who crossed over to form the government, says Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan.

“Barisan Nasional actually won GE14 with the help of Sabah STAR but then, the switching of the party came about, ” said the Umno supreme council member.

Barisan and Warisan each got 29 seats in the 60-member state assembly.

“With two seats from Sabah STAR, it was Barisan’s victory initially, ” he said.

Abdul Rahman also claimed that if Sabah Temporary Pass (PSS) was included in Warisan or Pakatan Harapan’s manifesto, they would have lost all their seats.

“I believe Kimanis voters will be able to teach Warisan and Pakatan a lesson in this by-election.

“Warisan is now accusing Barisan of not performing but who is cutting subsidies and assistance for the poor, single mothers and fishermen? How is this helping the people?” he asked while campaigning in Kg Malawaring Bongawan on Wednesday night.

He also urged the state government to reveal its plans to develop Kimanis and Sabah.

“This is not about politics. This is about the future of our children and grandchildren. So, choose wisely, ” he said.

Sabah Umno chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin said Umno has made many changes within the party.

He said those who were not performing, not meeting the grassroots and not people-centered, would be axed.

“If Datuk Mohamad Alamin wins but does not perform to expectations, I will kick him out, ” he said.

Mohamad pledged to continue the policies and the good work of former MP Datuk Seri Anifah Aman if he was elected to serve the voters on Jan 18.
