UPUonline results out on July 7

The results of applications for admission to public tertiary education institutions will be announced on July 7, said the Higher Education Ministry.

In a statement today, the ministry said candidates who applied for places in post-Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) programmes at public universities, polytechnics, community colleges and public skills training institutions (ILKA) for certificate, foundation and diploma level can check their results from noon on July 7 until 5pm on July 16.

They can check their results at the following sites https://jpt.utm.my; https://jpt.uum.edu.my; https://jpt.unimas.my; https://jpt.ums.edu.my and http://jpt.umt.edu.my.

They can also check via UPUPocket using mobile devices.

The candidates then have from July 8 to 16 to either confirm or reject the offers at the respective institution or ILKA website.

The offer letter will be issued by the respective institution to successful candidates, starting July 8, after the candidates have confirmed the offer within the stipulated period.

The ministry said only unsuccessful applicants or those who had been offered certificate-level studies can submit their appeal through UPUOnline for admission to public universities and polytechnic at https://upu.mohe.gov.my, starting noon on July 7 to 5pm on July 16.

Appeals for community colleges and ILKA can be made directly to the respective institution, without having to go through UPUOnline.

“The offer is final and any requests to change study programmes are not allowed at public universities and ILKA is not allowed.”
