Man allegedly beaten to death at Subang Jaya entertainment outlet; cameras said to have been dismantled before police were called

A Malaysian, believed to be around 40 years old, was beaten to death at an entertainment outlet in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, in what police suspect was linked to a drug-related dispute.
Two men have since been arrested.
According to sources, the victim was brought to a shophouse operating as an entertainment outlet on the afternoon of Wednesday (8 July) for what is believed to have been a confrontation over a drug dispute.
He was beaten during the encounter and died from his injuries.
After the victim was found dead, an unidentified individual allegedly instructed the hostesses to leave before dismantling the CCTV equipment.
Police were only alerted afterwards
Two Suspects Brought Back to the Scene
Officers arrived and conducted investigations until around 5 am before sending the body to the hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
Police subsequently arrested two suspects and brought them back to the scene on Thursday evening at around 8 pm to assist with investigations, including a crime reconstruction.
One suspect was seen leaving the premises at 9:06 pm with a black hood over his head and hands cuffed, escorted by several officers into a police van.
The police have been contacted by the press for comment.
No official response has been received at the time of publication.
