Missing woman comes forward, saying she wants to be left alone

IPOH: A woman reported missing in Taiping since June 16 has come forward and lodged a police report in Kajang, Selangor, denying allegations that she had been abducted.
Taiping police chief Ariffridzuan Ezahar said Nor Afiza Zainuddin, 41, was safe, in good health and unharmed. She lodged the report at about 3pm today, stating that she did not wish to be disturbed by her family members or any other parties.
“She explained that she had left home on June 16 of her own free will without any coercion from any person”, Ariffridzuan said in a statement tonight.
Ariffridzuan said Nor Afiza was last seen leaving her mother’s house in Kamunting, on June 16, driving a white Perodua Axia. Police found the car on June 21 at a recreational area in Batu Hampar, near Padang Rengas. It was in good condition, and contained some of her belongings.
