Police are investigating PDRM personnel linked to viral video insulting Chinese nationals

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) have opened a disciplinary investigation paper on one of its members connected to a viral incident in China, where she was accused of insulting the locals while on holiday there recently.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohd Khalid Ismail said the personnel involved is still on active duty at the moment, Berita Harian reported.
“I urge all parties to be calm and let PDRM conduct the investigation as best as they can, and not just from a disciplinary angle, whereas if there have been a violation of the law, appropriate action will be taken,” Mohd Khalid said during an event at the Royal Malaysia Police College recently.
