Cops confirm death of technician at Langkawi skywalk
A maintenance worker, Khairul Nizam Jaafar, 41, died after falling 40 metres while conducting repairs on the Langkawi Eagle Nest Skywalk.
The incident occurred on the slopes of Gunung Mat Chincang, and despite rainy conditions, authorities promptly retrieved his body.
His death was confirmed by Health Ministry personnel, and the case has been classified as sudden death.
Khairul, who had only been working at the site for three months, was transported to Sultanah Maliha Hospital for a post-mortem.
