Man arrested for attacking motorcyclist in road rage incident in Kulai

KULAI: A man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a motorcyclist in a road rage incident at Bulatan Lebuh Putra Utama, Bandar Putra, here on April 3.
Kulai district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Tan Seng Lee, said the incident occurred around 5.45pm when the 37-year-old victim was on his way to work in Singapore.
He said that the Kulai district police headquarters had received a report on the case, after a video showing a man being struck by another individual circulated on social media.
“The suspect suddenly stopped his vehicle in front of the victim’s motorcycle in the middle of the road, forcing the motorcycle to brake abruptly. He then allegedly kicked the motorcycle until it toppled over and struck the victim on the head and body with his hands, before other road users intervened to break up the fight,” he said in a statement today.
