ACTRESS Sophia Albarakbah will join her siblings to trade at the Stadium Merdeka Ramadan bazaar.

The 32-year-old star, known for her role in ‘From Saga With Love’, and her sisters will sell fresh pandan coconut water.

The actress, whose full name is Sharifah Sophia Syed Abdul Rahman, says that the venture was born out of a personal love for the drink and a desire to provide a healthier alternative for those breaking their fast.

“I thought of helping my sisters because we really love drinking coconut water. However, it’s quite difficult to find fresh ones at bazaars as most are mixed with sugar and water,” she said.

Beyond just quenching thirst, Sophia is on a mission to promote wellness.

“We want to encourage people to stay healthy by choosing drinks without added sugar, especially since coconut water is a natural isotonic. It has many benefits, including hydrating the body, and is great after sports or for buka puasa,” she added.

While her acting schedule remains packed, Sophia intends to be a “hands-on” celebrity vendor whenever her filming commitments allow.

She expressed a readiness to engage with the public, unfazed by the potential crowds.

“I won’t be there all the time. I’ll head to the bazaar whenever I don’t have a shoot or have some free time to help my sisters. Even with a busy schedule, I’ll try to be there as much as possible. I’m confident fans will support my siblings’ pandan coconut business,” she said.
