Zizie Izette returns to social media with video of children

KUALA LUMPUR: Former actress and widow of the late Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, Datin Seri Zizie Izette, 48, has captured public attention with her first Instagram video post since her husband’s passing.

The video shows her children enjoying an educational visit to a biscuit factory.

“A little fun, a lot of heart (@mini_izette_bites),” Zizie wrote in the caption, accompanied by a white heart emoji.

The single mother said she was planning to launch a biscuit-making project with her children, both as a source of income and to provide support for children who have lost their fathers.

She added that the project was also meant to continue her late husband’s charitable legacy, instilling the value of helping others in their children.

Netizens praised Zizie’s positive spirit and her efforts to teach her children about earning a living while giving back to the community.

“Wishing you success, Alhamdulillah,” one social media user commented. “Daddy (late) must be proud of his children,” said another.

“This is touching, even though it’s happy news,” wrote one user. “May Allah bless and reward these good children,” added another.

On her InstaStory, Zizie thanked her followers for their messages and support.

“We have received all your messages. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support. As we are still new to this, we are replying to each message slowly,” she wrote.

Earlier, on Dec 8, 2025, Zizie — whose real name is Zizie Izette Abdul Samad and who has 1.1 million Instagram followers — deleted all her previous posts, leaving her feed empty.

She has, however, continued to share updates through InstaStory for her followers.

Zizie and Bung Moktar tied the knot in 2009. They were together for 16 years and had five children.

Bung Moktar died on Dec 5 last year due to kidney failure and a lung infection at a hospital in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
