Four terrace houses razed in Kuala Kubu Bharu blaze
SHAH ALAM: Four single-storey terrace houses were destroyed in a fire at Taman Ampang Pecah, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Hulu Selangor, last night.
A Selangor Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said the department received an emergency call at 9.39pm.
He said a team of 33 personnel, along with fire engines from the Kuala Kubu Bharu, Tanjung Malim, Rawang and Bukit Sentosa fire and rescue stations, as well as the Fire and Rescue Academy of Malaysia, were immediately dispatched to the scene.
“Upon arrival, firefighters found that three houses were about 95 per cent destroyed, while another house sustained about 30 per cent damage.
“The fire was brought under control at 10.25pm,” he said in a statement today.

He added that no casualties were reported and that the cause of the fire is still under investigation
“The operation was fully concluded at 1.28am,” he said.
