Viral footage captures man hitting woman at condo
KUALA LUMPUR: A shocking video capturing a man assaulting a woman at a residential area in Penang has gone viral on social media.
Northeast district police chief Assistant Commissioner Abdul Rozak Muhammad said no report has been lodged regarding the incident.
“All we know is that the incident occurred at a condominium in Bayan Lepas,” he said when contacted.
The 16-second clip shows the man shoving and striking the woman beside a white car while she faces away from him.
Moments later, another man, believed to be a security guard for the condominium, intervenes.
As the woman slowly walks around the car, the assailant throws an unidentified object at her before hitting her again.
The video, taken from inside another car, was uploaded on the X account UpdateInfo.
