Man caught on camera ‘heartlessly’ abandoning kittens, police report lodged

KUALA LUMPUR: A man heartlessly abandoned a cat and five kittens behind a grooming shop, prompting the shop to lodge a police report.

Repeated incidents of abandoned cats have raised concerns at Catesyes Hotel & Grooming, as stray dogs frequently roam the area at night.

The shop highlighted the case in a viral video showing a man in a Perodua Viva leaving the cat and its kittens at the rear of the outlet on Nov 14.

The kittens were seen scattering in confusion after being let out of the car, unsure of where to go.

“Please don’t be heartless. If you no longer want to care for them, dumping cats is not a solution, especially behind our shop.

“It is truly heartbreaking that there are still people who can discard cats like this. These are lives, not objects,” the shop said.
