FORMER defence minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein (pic) has advised his successor to “move forward” instead of continuing to hurl accusations against the previous administration.
He said Mohamad Sabu should stop targeting him whenever he faced issues in leading the Defence Ministry.
“This (hurling accusations) does not solve problems related to the morale of the military and defence personnel as well as their families, ” he said at the Parliament lobby.
Hishammuddin, who is Sembrong MP, said he had no idea why he had been accused of various things by the Pakatan Harapan government.
He said in the beginning, he was accused of preventing Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim from becoming the next prime minister.
“Then I was accused of being a racist for allegedly saying a new government should be formed without DAP and Amanah, ” he added.
